60th International
Holy Convocation
The Hebrew term HOLY CONVOCATION* by expression is the word MIKRA, which is a gathering or convoking of an assembly for the sole purpose of worship and for the reading and exposition of the Law and commands of God (Numbers 10:2, Leviticus 23:1-3).
Holy Convocation is a period of time set aside that all minds and eyes may be fastened on God’s Word. It is a period of separation and dedication, a time to really get to know God and the power of His resurrection. A time in which we can examine God’s divine character as it is revealed to us as a provider, protector, rescuer, and deliverer.
*In some Bible translations, a Holy Convocation is referred to as a ‘sacred assembly.’
